Questions About Sexual Health.
Erectile Dysfunction
A sexual dysfunction characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an erection of the penis during sexual performance.
Yes, the terms have the same meaning.
Erectile dysfunction can result from a problem with the brain, hormones, emotions, nerves, muscles, or blood vessels. Stress and mental health problems can also cause or worsen it. In most cases ED is caused by something physical. Common causes include heart disease, clogged blood vessels (atherosclerosis), high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, high insulin levels, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, low testosterone, Peyronie’s disease (scar tissue inside the penis), certain prescription medications, tobacco use, alcoholism and other substance abuse, treatments for prostate cancer or enlarged prostate, and surgeries or injuries affecting the pelvic area or spinal cord.
Revibe prescribes customized medications based on each patient’s individual needs. These solutions, taken either sublingually or via intracavernosal injections, enhance the effects of nitric oxide — a natural chemical your body produces that relaxes the muscles in the penis, increasing blood flow so an erection can occur in response to stimulation. ED medications vary in dosage and duration. When ED occurs due to decreased testosterone production, testosterone replacement therapy may also improve the problem.
Yes. Revibe’s customized medications are successful ED treatment options for most men, even if popular “one-size-fits-all” brand-name medications have not worked. Revibe specializes in determining the proper treatment at the precise dose your body needs, so patients can gain a full erection with little or no side effects. Treatment programs commonly restore full function, even in men who have not had an erection in 10–20 years.
There can be side effects during treatment for ED, but they usually don’t last longer than a few hours and are more likely at higher dosages. They include headache, facial flushing, and upset stomach, and may briefly cause bluish or blurred vision or light sensitivity. In rare instances men taking PDE5 inhibitors reported a sudden decrease or loss of vision or hearing — if this happens, stop taking them and seek medical help immediately. ED medications may cause other side effects besides those listed here.
Typically, patients experience restored full function in one office visit, even if a patient has not had an erection in years.

Premature Ejaculation
You can address premature ejaculation through behavioral methods, mental-health support, and medications (both oral medications and topical anesthetics), and by working with your provider to find the blend of options that’s right for you. In a confidential, professional environment, Revibe can provide treatment that allows for both full function and longer duration according to your individual needs.
Revibe offers three main treatment options for PE: sublingual (under-the-tongue) tablets, testosterone replacement therapy, and intracavernosal injections. Oral medications most commonly used for ED have also been shown to be effective for PE; a quick-dissolving sublingual tablet can act faster and be less affected by food. Many patients with low testosterone see significant PE improvement after starting TRT.
Several medications are often prescribed for premature ejaculation, though they have not been approved by the FDA for this purpose. The most common are serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) such as fluoxetine and citalopram, and antidepressants like clomipramine — for these drugs, improved control is an off-label effect rather than the main indication. Revibe also offers sublingual tablets, testosterone therapy, and injections designed specifically for men’s health.
That little blue pill is sildenafil, a popular medication for erectile dysfunction. Because ED is a different condition from ejaculating prematurely, it is widely thought that sildenafil has little effect on premature ejaculation.
Premature ejaculation is a condition in which the entire process of arousal, erection, ejaculation, and climax occurs very rapidly — often in just a few minutes or even seconds — leaving both partners unsatisfied. PE may accompany conditions such as erectile dysfunction, but it is generally treated differently. PE symptoms are both physical and psychological, with stress and anxiety as contributing factors; many men with PE also develop performance anxiety, loss of self-esteem, and conflict with their partner.
Premature ejaculation is most often caused by a combination of factors. The most common biological issues are an overly sensitive penis, low testosterone or serotonin levels, and weak pelvic muscles. Ejaculating too quickly also has causes beyond biology: psychological factors like anxiety, guilt, depression, or stress are all significant, and the most effective treatment plans address all of these factors.
