Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide (Medical Weight Loss Programs) analog. Medical weight loss programs is a hormone naturally produced in the small intestine that stimulates insulin secretion and inhibits glucagon secretion, thereby lowering blood sugar. There are many forms of semaglutide in the market like Ozempic ® and Wegovy ®.

Studies show that semaglutide reduces appetite, improves control of eating, and reduces food cravings in addition to improving glycemic control. Glucagon-like peptide-1 (Medical Weight Loss Programs) incretin hormone helps the pancreas release insulin, which in turn helps the body control blood sugar levels.

Tirzepatide combines two classes of medications: Medical weight loss programs and GIP whereas Semaglutide is just the medical weight loss Programs. In some studies, Tirzepatide was found to be superior in treating diabetes patients to Semaglutide. It works by mimicking the effects of incretin hormones–or, hormones that are released after eating that regulate the amount of insulin your pancreas secretes and lowers the amount of glucose your liver makes. In short, this helps you to feel fuller longer, slows down digestion, and lowers your blood sugar. The most common form of Tirzepatide is Mounjaro ®.

Tirzepatide combines two classes of medications: Medical weight loss programs and GIP, whereas semaglutide includes just the medical weight loss programs. Patients are reporting significantly less nausea symptoms with tirzepatide, and many studies show faster and more effective results.

You will start on a lower dose and then titrate up every 4 weeks. It’s important to let your body get used to the medication before upping your dose to prevent side effects like nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. Many people will feel less hunger and reduced cravings within the first 24-48 hours. The best method for losing weight is slow and steady. It’s important SET REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS: While most patients will start to see small weight reductions in the first few months, it usually takes 3 months of consistent treatment or more to see drastic weight loss. It’s important to focus on lifestyle habits including nutrition and movement to complement the medication

Side effects are rare, but may occur. Revibe’s healthcare professionals will work with you to find the right dosage to prevent side effects from the start. Always report side effects to your Re vibe healthcare provider immediately so they can adjust your prescription help you feel better sooner.
