Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide (Medical Weight Loss Programs) analog. Medical Weight Loss Programs is a hormone naturally produced in the small intestine that stimulates insulin secretion and inhibits glucagon secretion, thereby lowering blood sugar. There are many forms of semaglutide in the market like Ozempic ® and Wegovy ®.

The maximum dosage is 2.5 mg per week for semaglutide, and 15 mg per week of tirzepatide
